Walter, Reinhilde and Valerie met twelve years ago in the slums of Mumbai, where Walter ran a non-profit clinic, Barefoot Acupuncturist.
All three trained as Chinese medicine practitioners. They went their own way and now meet again to guide you through this Mountain detox.

Reinhilde Terryn
Reinhilde has a profound passion and interest in the holistic functioning of body and mind from the perspective of Chinese medicine. With knowledge, experience and intuition she helps you to regain balance. Her drive, attention and warm personality give you a safe framework. She is a trained nurse. And she has many years of experience in guiding people through fastening. Healing and health has a lot of layers, that’s why she goes through a fastening proces every six months. She leads a very successful Chinese medicine clinic in Brussels. more
Valerie Boisson
Valerie has traveled the world practicing shiatsu and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for humanitarian missions in India, Iraq, Togo, Calais, Lesbos, and Ethiopia. These incredibly rich professional and human experiences have nourished Valerie's practice and way of looking at health.
After having lived and worked for years as Chinese medicine practitioner in Paris she moved to the village of Lanjaron in 2020 where she runs Balthazar & co.
Valerie will be providing you with massages during this detox week.
Walter Fischer
After a few professional and geographical touch and go’s, Walter dropped his suitcases on Andalusian soil 7 years ago. He fell for a piece of the Alpujarras mountain. With no experience and after a fair amount of learning from mistakes, he now grows grapes, olive trees and tries to turn his land into a little oasis. Good luck. His wine is natural and rather rough. A bit like himself.
Walter and his partner Bea will be your hosts as the creators of the residence and land the detox will be held at.
